MaryBeth is a certified Personal Trainer through American College of Sports Medicine and earned a BS in Kinesiology/Exercise Science/Nutrition from Illinois State University. With 15 years of fitness industry experience, MB has worked with a wide variety of populations through many different fitness domains including: Weight loss, Strength & conditioning, sports specific training (running, golf, football, volleyball, baseball, tennis), injury prevention/rehab and endurance training. Outside of being the GM at 222 N LaSalle, she coaches High school cross country and track & Field, has completed 7 full marathons, as well as an NPC figure competition. Outside of fitness, MB loves to cook, spend time with her Pit/Lab, Taz and is obsessed with Zombies.

Dan is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He grew up playing soccer, football, basketball, rock climbing, and being outdoors. He has always been a part of a team within a positive environment of encouragement, motivation, great coaches, and mentors has shaped him into the person he is today. In college his fitness addiction hit hard and he hasn't stopped since. Love for fitness has bled into his daily life and it quickly became a career path of helping others. Dan has worked with high-school students, parents and the grandparents responsible for them. His philosophy lies in strength training and functional movement. At the base of it all; the individual he is training and their skill level. Fitness is a journey not a destination. Find what works and make it FUN!

Grace believes in a real, whole food approach to nutrition. Food is the fuel for our bodies. It is meant to be enjoyed, not something to constantly be worrying or feeling guilty about. Grace takes a realistic approach in her counseling and encourages a healthy relationship with food. Becoming a healthier you is about making lasting lifestyle changes, one step at a time. Grace loves to cook and test out new recipes. Her passion is playing volleyball. She also loves to travel and practice her Spanish skills whenever possible.

I love the group exercise classes. The variety of types and instructors help to mix up my weekly workouts. Having a scheduled class to go to motivates me to make it to the gym, even on days when the struggle to go is real! The instructors at LifeStart are motivating and encouraging. They also do a wonderful job preparing our workouts. Prior to joining I never would have done burpees, push ups or box jumps on my own. However, since being an active member in group fitness classes, I now do all of those! These classes pushed me out of my workout comfort zone and the results are well worth it!
